The solar industry is full of small installation companies that are really good electricians and roofers that decided to jump on the solar wagon. The problem that I see with most of the home owners I meet is that they don’t show any proposals with production or design. They sometimes just go buy the best case scenario written on the manufacturer’s spec sheet. Shading, Azimuth, angle, and location are very important factors. The most common problem I see is that customers are sold smaller systems than what’s needed to power their home.
